Royal Family of Akropong
King Frederick William Kwasi Akuffo, a product of the Basel seminary in Akropong which is a town in south Ghana, was Omanhene of the “sacred seat” of the Akuapem-Asona, one of the seven major Akan clans, between 1895-1907 & 1920-1927. He was in fact the first educated and christian King of Akropong.
